Initially the event was something of a mess, but CEO Patty Cortes handled the situation with an Arie of style and grace the can only be found in a leader. Initially it was thought that there was a server asset issue but after some time it became clear that eleven of the sixteen contestants failed to show up to the event.

It is the firm belief of this journalist that this situation can not be blamed on an asset issue, or on the Ebony Limited organization, but rather this is to be blamed on the lack of dedication from this particular body of male models. Patty Cortes was able to swiftly save the event by instantly disqualifying the eleven no shows and then moving on to disqualifying an additional two models. This is good because if will fast track the competition bringing us to our final conclusion during the next wave of eliminations.
Of the five contestants Tiuri Thiebaud and Tore Oh were both disqualified, leaving Thirteen Kronfeld, Shaun Arliss and Rez Nitely to move on to the next round as well as sharing in prizes and money totaling in value of over L$100,000 The final event will take place on Saturday the 17Th which will also be the opening party for Ebony Magazine.
